For over 145 years we have been providing a focal point for people from the Italian speaking part of Switzerland who are in United Kingdom and for those people of Swiss-Italian descent, who want to learn more about the region from which their ancestors came as well as for those English people who are simply very fond of Ticino. We are a friendly group of people who hold regular social events and cultural evenings. Da più di 145 anni siamo un punto di riferimento e di incontro per gli Svizzeri italiani che si sono stabiliti a Londra e per i loro discendenti che desiderano conoscere meglio il Paese dal quale sono venuti i loro antenati, ma anche per gli Inglesi che amano e apprezzano il Ticino. Siamo un gruppo di persone amichevoli che si incontrano regolarmente per passare insieme serate a tema culturale. Su questo sito troverete ampie informazioni e sarete i benvenuti se vi unirete a noi.
My name is Andreas, I live in Hampstead and am a member of the Unione Ticinese.
I hear from so many people that they love the @Swiss Bread - Bakery and Cafe but that sometimes Richmond is just a bit too far for a regular trip.
I will be going to the bakery on Wednesday and offer free delivery to anyone in London who lives near my way home (anywhere around London and surroundings).

A great cooking masterclass with Kira Ghidoni tonight! Under her expert guidance we prepared a delicious ticinese recipe of "Capretto al forno" with roast potato, lamb's lettuce salad and strawberry with sabayon for dessert 😋
A huge thank you Kira, it has been wonderful to get to know you and the passion you turned into your profession. Your kindness, the fondness for simple, genuine ingredients, the inspiration you got from your Grandad in Ticino and the encounters you made during your travelling are some the unique ingredients that make your cooking a very special experience! 💙
