I am delighted to welcome you to the Unione Ticinese website. I am originally from Minusio, in Ticino and joined the UT after moving from Switzerland to the UK in 2008, where I now live with my husband and our three children. The UT has given me the opportunity to increase my network in London and surrounding areas. I have met many new friends, from Ticino, other parts of Switzerland and the UK, and got to know in more details the history of ticinese emigration to the UK. I hope to meet you soon at one of our upcoming events.

Sono lieta di accogliervi nel sito dell'Unione Ticinese. Sono originaria di Minusio, e sono entrata nell'UT dopo essermi trasferita nel Regno Unito con mio marito e i nostri tre figli. L'UT mi ha dato l'opportunità di ingrandire la mia rete a Londra e dintorni. Ho incontrato molti nuovi amici provenienti dal Ticino, da altre regioni svizzere e dal Regno Unito, e ho scoperto in modo più dettagliato la storia dell'emigrazione ticinese verso l'Inghilterra. Spero di avere presto l'occasione di incontrarvi di persona a uno dei nostri eventi.
