I moved to the UK in 2008 and joined the UT to build a vibrant network of friends and Ticinesi in London. As the immediate past president of the UT (2019 – 2026, I focused on strengthening and modernising the society, whilst continuing to promote Swiss-Italian culture and supporting our diverse membership through artistic and sociocultural events, in particular with a theatre production: Valchera’s.

Professionally, I am a Consultant Anaesthetist at University College London Hospital, a clinical educator at the London School of Anaesthesia, and an Hon. Associate Professor at UCL, where I specialise in developing innovative medical education.
