I am Peter Barber, married to Christiane and have been visiting Ticino for a few weeks every year since 1958. I have also been a member of the Unione Ticinese since 1980.

Over the years, I have served the society as a committee member, Secretary (2017–2026), and President from 2011 to 2016. I have twice updated and revised the Society’s history, in 1999 and 2014, and I currently serve as the Society’s archivist, continuing to expand and preserve the archives, which are on loan to the London Archives.

I am always on the lookout for additional material that may be held by past members or their families.
